2019 ANZAC DAY SERVICE

Community Service by the Rotary Club of Coomera Valley

ANZAC DAY MARCH AND SERVICE

8.00am
Display of WW1 documents and history, Coomera School of the Arts Hall.
Band, school and community groups begin to form in Gawler Place, off Reserve Rd.

9.00am
March begins down Reserve Road and into Oxenford-Tamborine Road.

9.30am
March reaches Cenotaph and joins memorial Service.

10.15am
Memorial Service concludes.

COMMUNITY BBQ AND ENTERTAINMENT – SIGANTO PARK

10.30am      BBQ and drinks available.  All welcome.

PLEASE NOTE THE SUMMARY OF ROAD CLOSURES AND TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT

9.00am
Reserve Road closed – Oxenford-Tamborine Road closed and Charlie Crossing Road closed

9.30am
Reserve Road opens to outbound Mt Tamborine traffic.

10.30am
Oxenford-Tamborine opens to all traffic but Traffic Controllers will still be operating.

Please ensure you follow directions of any Rotary Volunteers wearing the Hi-Vis Safety Jackets.  Students from Saint Stephen’s College who attend must wear their College formal uniform and hat.  Please remember to wear sunblock and bring a bottle of water.

Dr Dorrington and Mrs Howe will be supervising Saint Stephen’s College students.

Please be on time when you arrive at 8am to meet at Gawler Place, off Reserve Road
