Golden surprise for Year 12 students
Our Year 12 students were given a golden surprise all the way from Germany to mark the start of their final day celebrations. International student, Tom Ruthmann, made the trip back to SSC to congratulate his classmates after he finished his one year program with us in June. Well done, Tom, and we hope the 4 day whirlwind trip to the other side of the globe wasn’t too hard on you – good luck with your exams upon your return to school in Germany! Another great example of the mateship shared between our local and international students.
Farewell Year 12 students
Wishing the graduating Year 12 students all the best for a bright future. It's been an emotional week for everyone saying goodbye to a lovely group of students. Saint Stephen's College staff and remaining students bid you good luck and farewell.

Beat the Blues Day – Tuesday 22 October
Beat the Blues Day – Tuesday 22 October Similar to last year, we are having ‘Beat the Blues Day’, held this year on Tuesday 22 October. This is a fundraising event as organised by Hughes House to raise money for beyondblue, an agency that does great work around mental health. On this day, students will have the opportunity to listen to some live music, purchase some food from the sausage sizzle and wear their “blue” jeans or “blue” jean-shorts for a gold coin donation, which will be collected during Tutor Group. Jeans and shorts need to be appropriate ie no rips or holes, and the shorts should be at least as long as students’ school sports shorts; students are to wear their school sports shirts and sandshoes with their jeans or shorts on this day.
