What's been happening at the College
Musical Theatre Workshop with Stephen Mahy
On Wednesday, 29 March 2023, the Performing Arts Department of Saint Stephen's College presented a Musical Theatre Workshop in collaboration with Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) Graduate and star of Beautiful the Musical, Stephen Mahy. The workshop was open to both internal and external students and consisted of three sessions, each focusing on core disciplines within Musical Theatre. The sessions were led by industry professionals Stephen Mahy, Richard Ham, Accompanist, Dylan Troyahn, Director of Performing Arts, and Caroline Taylor, Vocal Tutor. We would like to express our gratitude for their time and expertise shared with our future performers and encourage everyone to keep an eye out for our upcoming workshops.
Grandparents and Special Friends Day
The Junior College hosted Grandparents and Special Friends Day, featuring an Easter Hat Parade for Prep to Year 3 students and a concert performance by Prep to Year 6 students, with special appearances by our Senior College Music Optima students.

Twilight Showcase
We welcomed prospecting families to the College for our Twilight Showcase. It was fantastic to meet new faces and show all that our school has to offer. Thank you to all our attendees.
Family Chapel Service
We are delighted that after 3 years of live streaming, our Family Chapel Service can be in person. We use this time to spend together in worship and believe this to be an important part of who we are as a Christian College.

Innovative School 2022
Congratulations to our College Community for being selected for the seventh year in a row and as one of only 46 schools in the country (and one of only 19 in Queensland) to be selected by The Educator as a 5-Star Innovative School for 2022. Now in its eighth year, the Innovative Schools Awards recognises schools who are the forefront of change and innovation. We are beyond proud of this achievement and to be listed as providing ground breaking educational programs and initiatives.
Christmas Carols
It was a fabulous night at our Christmas Carols. Our College Captains did an amazing job organising popcorn, gingerbread, and lollypops and raised over $400 for St Vincent de Paul.
