Physical Education(Yr9+10)/Junior Science (Yr8+9) - Contract


Due to maternity leave the College seeks a motivated and enthusiastic teacher to become part of a highly competent and proactive team, to commence 1st March 2012 till end of Term 1 2013.

The position requires an ability to develop curriculum, inspire students and demonstrate the physical and academic benefits of an active and healthy lifestyle. A practical knowledge of the Habits of Mind and Intentional Teaching will be an advantage.

Mathematics Teacher - Contract


The College requires a highly skilled and motivated senior Mathematics teacher for a short term contract. (Terms 2 beginning 21 May 2012 until end of Term 4 2012).

An ability to teach Mathematics to years 7 -12, including Maths B/C,  with experience in the Queensland Senior Mathematics Syllabus is desired.

The applicants will need to demonstrate a genuine commitment to the ideals of independent schools, including a preparedness to be involved in a range of extra curricular
activities, and be eligible for Queensland College of Teachers Registration.

Visual Art / English Teacher


Saint Stephen’s College seeks an suitably qualified and enthusiastic teacher to cover a long service leave during Term 2,2012.

Previous experience teaching Visual Arts [Years 8 -12] and an ability to teach middle school English is essential.

Emily McNeill

Emily McNeill has been swimming since she was four years old and has won countless Queensland State Championship swimming medals. Her biggest achievement by far was in 2009 when she successfully competed at the Swimming Australia National titles in Sydney gaining a silver medal in the 15year girls 5km event - the 100th year anniversary of Swimming in Australia.
