SSC Facilities Gallery

We opened our new Multi-Purpose Hall on August 17 2010. This amazing facility boasts two basketball/netball courts as well as facilities for volleyball and badminton. The hall has pull out moveable seating for over 300 people, well equipped gymnasium on a mezzanine floor, stage area that accommodates two classrooms, a dance studio, change rooms, kiosk, foyer in which we can display trophies, and an office for the sports staff. It is, without doubt, one of the best facilities of its kind in the country.

The Multi-Purpose Hall is the first installment of icing to be placed on the College cake. Since 2003 we have built twenty five air-conditioned classrooms, a staff and student welfare centre that includes a 130 seat lecture theatre, two covered courts, change rooms and a kiosk near the oval, refurbished the old courts, landscaped the grounds and installed new play equipment.

It is worth reminding ourselves about how much we have done together in recent years. However, as I have said many times, it is people, not buildings, that make great schools and we are fortunate to have a wonderful community of staff members, students and parents. As each year goes by we can all claim with increased confidence “What we have, others cannot buy!”

Please call in any time to have a look at our remarkable school.
