Year 1 fire fighters
The Year 1s were very excited to have a visit from the Helensvale Fire Department recently.
The students were encouraged to learn their address and emergency telephone number. They now know to STOP, DROP and ROLL if their clothes were to catch on fire and to GET DOWN LOW and GO, GO, GO if there is a fire. The fire fighters dressed up in their suits and masks, and the students all had a go at squirting the fire hose and exploring the fire truck.Read more »
Tabera Bonteman tennis champion
Tabera Bonteman, our international student from Kiribati (a beautiful island nation in the Pacific Ocean), has come to Saint Stephen's College to study and play tennis. Since arriving in Australia, Tabera has made his mark as a formidable tennis champion. He recently achieved runner-up in the 12/U Boys singles at the Brisbane Open Age tennis tournament at the Queensland Tennis Centre, and in July of this year he came first place in the 15 Boys Pacific Oceania Tennis Junior Championship. Tabera has a big future in tennis.Read more »
Year 5 Camp
From Wednesday 1 August to Friday 3 August, Year 5 attended camp at beautiful Lake Ainsworth at scenic Lennox Head.
The students participated in canoeing, snorkelling, rock climbing and archery. The camp provided all Year 5 students and staff with the opportunity to work together and get to know each other in a different environment. Everyone had a fantastic time and enjoyed their sunny time away from the College.Read more »
Welcome to our short stay visitors
Throughout Term Three we will host a number of short-term visitors to experience life at Saint Stephen's College. We look forward to sharing activities with our study tours from Hong Kong and Japan.

Year 11 Leadership Camp, Bunya Mountains
The Year 11 Leadership Camp is an opportunity for all students in Year 11 to spend time reflecting on their individual strengths, developing an understanding of different personalities and learning how to work effectively as a leadership team.
The week featured presentations from Graham Hyman, a very experienced speaker who specialises in school leadership, a number of personal development workshops delivered by College teachers, and a celebratory ‘Mock Formal’ dinner on the final night.Read more »
