Sports Awards dinner honours senior College athletes
It was a packed Goda Firkins Auditorium for the 2016 Sports Awards dinner, where students in Years 7 to 12 were in the spotlight for their athletic achievements throughout the year.
Congratulations to all awards recipients.
Awards included: Junior and Senior Male and Female Sports Persons of the Year; Half, Full and Blue Colours; Service, Striving and Encouragement; Griffith University; Most Promising and Most Accomplished teams and individuals; Special Recognition; Team and Most Promising Team of the Year; Spirit of Rugby; Netball Hall of Fame and Honour achievements.
It was an exciting evening of highlights, which included Nutri-Grain Ironman and two-times Molokai to Oahu paddleboard champion, Matt Bevilacqua, as guest speaker.
