TheatralisTheatralis, the school play, is a yearly tradition that brings theatre to Saint Stephen’s College audiences. It aims to be original, creative and allow students with a passion for acting and performances to show their skills.Theatralis aims to enhance students skills by extending their knowledge of realism and contemporary theatre. Each year Theatralis will draw in audiences to experience emotion and challenge particular beliefs and attitudes of different social groups within society. Theatralis also endeavours to showcase different styles and dramatic techniques that are used within the Arts industry. Below are past productions performed as part of Theatralis. 1998 A Star is Spawn 2009 saw a new initiative implemented as part of Theatralis. This involved a Year 11 student writing, directing and producing a new innovative production titled, Moving On. This project was part of an independent study organised through the Queensland Studies Authority. The production was very successful and once again re-enforced the College’s aims to bring the community together to support the Arts. Below are photos from the 2009 production, Moving On. |
