Bush Tucker & Native Bee Garden

We are so excited to announce that Saint Stephen’s College is one of 1,609 primary schools and early learning centres throughout Australia receiving a Woolworths Junior Landcare grant for our Bush Tucker and Native Bee Garden.

Our Woolworths Junior Landcare Grant will provide opportunities for all students to develop an understanding of and respect for our local Yugambeh people’s history, culture and language through native plants and bees. The children will be involved in researching, choosing plants, planting and caring for the plants and native bees.
