Education Perfect Student STEALTH Challenge 2020

What an amazing effort from Daniel Davies-Pryce, Tane Hobley and Marcel Kern who placed 3rd in the category Year 8 & above, in the Education Perfect STEALTH Challenge which included competitors from Australia and New Zealand.

Daniel, Tane and Marcel designed a canister for filtering microplastics from the Great Pacific Garbage Patch in response to the increase in plastic disposal following COVID-19 precautions.

It was a collaborative effort between the Science Department, eLearning and Arts & Applied Technology to make this a winning entry.  The canister was built in the 3D printer at the College.
