Mr Iain Taylor honoured

Our very own, Mr Iain Taylor has been awarded the prestigious Pivotal People Leadership Award by the Australian Council for Educational Leaders (ACEL).

As Head of Science at Saint Stephen’s College since 2017, Iain Taylor has been pivotal in promoting studies and careers in science for students. He is a passionate and charismatic leader, providing opportunities and delivering results for students and staff. He introduced many initiatives at the College, including the STEAM Ambassador program, where Year 10 students run STEAM workshops in the Junior College. He transformed the Year 11 Science Ambassador program to deliver an interactive Science Show for local primary schools. These initiatives deliver many benefits, including leadership skills in senior students and curiosity in junior students.

Iain’s leadership of strong curriculum delivery teamed with extra-curricular opportunities have seen sciences become one of the most popular departments at Saint Stephen’s College. Thank you and congratulations Mr Taylor!
