As one of the four teachers from the College named on The Educator’s annual Hot List, below we share some of the amazing contributions that Ms Samantha Reynolds has made.

Ms Samantha Reynolds has led a number of innovative programs at the Saint Stephen’s College, including the development of enterprise education, STEAM, and interdisciplinary projects, many of which have been running for more than a decade.
Ms Reynolds initiated a multidisciplinary approach to teaching which focuses on pracademia, and engages extensively with the broader community, in order to provide the students with the opportunity to make connections now and in their futures. As a pracademic, she encourages students to be innovators through critical thinking, creative thinking, communication, collaboration, and teamwork personal and social skills with a balance of ICT skills, through a discovery process.
Collaborative projects include Future Millionaires Challenge, Money Money Money, and Don’t Get Started Get Ready – intrapreneurship programs that connect to students to local businesses. Now in its 11th year, Ms Reynolds implemented the Wearable Art and Design Show, with this year done a little differently. The STEAM initiative, blends up to seven subjects into one final project.
