Bravo! Performing Arts Awards
Congratulations to the 2016 Performing Arts Awards recipients. The annual awards dinner is a celebration of the outstanding achievements of our talented Saint Stephen’s students, and their contributions to music, song, dance and theatre.
Awards included: Half, Full and Blue Colours, Excellence and Service, Five and 10-year Commitment to Performing Arts, State Honours Ensemble Program and other outstanding achievements. As well as exceptional student performances we were treated to an unforgettable act by the College Performing Arts Tutors Band, and welcomed our new Director of Performing Arts, Mr Dylan Troyahn, who joins us in 2017. Into the Woods hits musical a high note

Inter-House Cross Country Carnival
On the 18th of April, Saint Stephen’s College held their annual Cross Country Carnival.
This event in the School’s calendar presents an opportunity for students to run against their peers, helping to promote participation and peer support as everyone runs to the best of their ability around the track. Staff, students and parents should all be commended for their joint efforts in making this day a wonderful success. It should be also noted that almost all Houses, in Junior and Senior school, had over 80% participation from student’s during the day, which is outstanding!Read more »

Tribute to Gaye Affleck This is to advise that on Friday 29 April commencing at 9.25am, we are dedicating a segment at the start of our General Assembly to commemorate our colleague and friend, Mrs Gaye Affleck who passed away during the recent holidays. Gaye has been a very well-respected and valued member of staff at the College for over 10 years, and a friend to both her colleagues and students alike. We would like to acknowledge the contributions she has made to the College community in a special tribute to her. Please be advised that students in Years 7 to 12 will be in attendance unless you would prefer your child not to attend.Read more »
Saint Stephen’s students ‘shave off’ for a great cause
Saint Stephen’s College ‘serial shaver’ Mitchell Hobbs (Year 12) and ‘second timer’ female student Charlie Pate (Year 6) were among 7 students who braved the World’s Greatest Shave this year - to the sounds of the Funk Band, sizzling snags, stalls, games and much cheering from their peers - to raise funds for a worthy cause.
Event Coordinator, Father Andrew Kinmont, said the annual ‘cut and colour’ was always well supported, with many returning regularly to raise funds and awareness for the Leukaemia Foundation.Read more »
