Wearable Art Show
Wearable Architecture is the third annual Art and Applied Technology Department, Wearable Art Show at Saint Stephen’s College.
This creative event is a collaborative project between the Visual Art, Graphics and Media students. This year, the students have been given a design brief based on architecture elements, hence the name for the 2013 event “Wearable Architecture”.
Over 120 students have been involved in the event. Featured were some creative wearable sculptures; a complete outfit from the Year 10 Visual Art Students and a fascinator or hat designed and created by the Year 10 Graphics Students. Finally, the Media students were required to make a Stop Motion Animation and interview package of each artist. The Stop Motion animation not only involved developing a concept, but editing up to four hundred Photoshop images to create a moving animation.« Back to Index
